It's Friday night-thank goodness. It was a really long day and rather trying. The kids seemed to be hyped up all day long and it was really draining. My teaching partner and I decided we needed a little pick-me-up so we ran to Subway at lunch and went to a drive through for some coffee. I think we made good decisions though. I had a 6 inch roast beef sub. I'm really funny about lunch meat (yeah, I've written about that before) and I decided to swallow an extra 20-30 calories for not getting turkey or ham. They just look so gross to me. Normally I get veggie subs but one of the best things about those is having mayo on it. Since I'm not adding mayo I thought it best not to do the veggie. After getting further down the line at Subway I'm certainly glad I ordered more than the veggie. The cucumbers were browning around the middle and looked disgusting and the girl making my sandwich really skimped on the veggies. So thankfully there was roast beef.
As for the coffee, it was non fat and sugar free. (o:
LCW was better today. There were a few moves that were still really challenging for me but I'm glad otherwise why would I waste my time?
I don't know the routine well enough to turn Jillian off though. I can only listen to her "motivation" so much longer.
When I was done with the 5 or 6 circuits (I can't remember how many) I did a few ab moves. I'm going to try to do this every time.
Today's menu:
Green tea with mixed berry. I might have to switch it up this weekend. The tea has become a little bland now. Tomorrow may be pomegranate.
Low fat Greek yogurt with honey and Corn Flakes
Apple
6" roast beef sub-American cheese, lettuce, spinach, black olives, pickles, salt and pepper, and mustard
Homemade chicken nachos. Leftover baked chicken, cheese, black olives, jalapenos, avocado.
Bowl of Rice Krispies. I caved, I needed (um wanted) something sweet. Hubby had a bowl of ice cream, it was my next best option. Now I feel like my stomach is sloshing around.
Anyway, it's Friday night. I have my hubby and my puppy on the couch with me. I can't ask for much more.
This was fun to read!
ReplyDeleteHolly, can you say some more about the LCW? Like how its set up, how it is compared to the Shred, how long it takes, if it builds muscle, etc...I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteYOU are doing GREAT! I'm so proud of you!!
