The Shred-Day Thirty!

Yes thirty! Not only did I make it to thirty days but I also did EVERY SINGLE DAY! That's huge for me. Huuuuuuuge. I know this is just the beginning but I'm so excited at what I've started and what might happen from here.

Today was not as last chance-y as I had hoped. I really wanted to do everything non-stop but that didn't quite work out. I'm getting stronger though and will be ready for a bump up in weights for most of the strength stuff. I don't know if the jumping jacks with weights will be the same story...

I've walked the puppy again the past two or three days. Basically we missed three days last week because it was so stinkin' cold out. And I'm talking below 10 degrees plus a windchill. No thanks.

Had a meeting after school today that had a 'dip' theme. Spinach dip, cheese dip, salsa, fruit dip...There were chips, crackers, well, you get the idea. There were also two different sizes of plates. There was a 4" in diameter and an 8" in diameter. I chose the 4" and grabbed some kiwi, strawberries, and two banana halves. Yum.

One coworker remarked something about, "That's all you're eating is fruit?"
"Yup." I just kept thinking, I have a workout ahead of me yet tonight and I have dinner at home in the crockpot. Why do I need to eat a plateful of stuff right now?

Anyway, here's the rest of the menu:

Green tea with mixed berry
Low fat Greek yogurt with honey and Rice Chex

Leftover pulled pork (no bun), green beans, and mashed potatoes

Strawberries, kiwi, bananas

Roast with potatoes and carrots
Steamed snow peas

Congratulations to all the ladies who made it through the 30 days and to Jackie for making it through 60 days! Let's do another 30!
